asked the Minister for Education if he will cancel the transfer by CERT to Galway of the facilities available in Wexford for the training of hotel staffs; and if he is aware that this transfer was planned without any reference to the County Wexford Vocational Education Committee.

I have no direct function in relation to the decisions and activities of CERT. I am aware, however, of the need for rationalisation of the facilities for education and training in the hotel and catering industry and in order to achieve this I have at the request of CERT made permanent provision in the Galway Regional Technical College.
