Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cavan Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands the number of estates in County Cavan held by the Land Commission; the names of these estates; the acreage involved; and the names and acreage of the estates which it is proposed to allocate in 1972.

The particulars requested are contained in a tabular statement which I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

County Cavan

Particulars of arable lands—apart from insignificant residues of partly allotted properties and lands transferred in exchange—in the possession of the Land Commission for division.

NOTE: It is not possible at present to indicate when the individual Estates mentioned will be allotted, but there will be no avoidable delay. Some 480 acres have already been allocated in 1972 and it is hoped that a further 300 acres will be allotted during the current season.
