Seán Flanagan Minister for Lands (Mr. S. Flanagan) Fianna Fáil

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

County Tipperary

Particulars of consents granted to non-citizens under Section 45 (2) (a), Land Acts 1965—excluding mortgage interests, area under 5 acres and transfers from one non-citizen to another—in the year ended 31st December, 1971.

NOTES:

The transaction at (1) was the transfer from an Irishwoman (who had purchased in 1970) to her American husband.

The transaction at (2) was in respect of a stud property.

The transaction at (3) was in respect of a very large mansion with mainly ornamental land.
