Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dispensary Closures.

asked the Minister for Health the number of dispensaries officially closed (i) in County Leitrim and (ii) in County Sligo; and the location of dispensaries in both counties which are not officially closed.

Comment on this

The position is that the following dispensaries have been closed in County Leitrim: Garvagh, Ballymeehan, Mohill and Dromhair. In County Sligo the dispensary at Curry has been closed.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a list of the former dispensary premises in the two counties which are being used as practice premises under the reorganised general medical services.

Following is the list:

County Leitrim: Carrick-on-Shannon, Ballinamore, Drumkeerin, Drumshanbo, Leitrim, Keshcarrigan, Ballinagleara, Dromod, Fearnaught, Kinlough, Kiltyclougher, Glenfarne, Manorhamilton, Lisdrumrea, Carrigallen and Newtowngore.

County Sligo: Aclare, Ballymote, Cashelgorron, Carrigans, Ballinfull, Cliffoney, Collooney, Easkey, Enniscrone, Geevagh, Gurteen, Riverstown, Skreen, Tubbercurry and Sligo.
