asked the Minister for Health whether any progress has been made towards the implementation of equal pay for equal work for general trained nurses in general and specialised hospitals to accord with pay parity conceded between the sexes in psychiatric hospitals.

As the salary scales for general trained nurses are not differentiated on the basis of sex, the question of removing a differential does not arise.
