asked the Minister for Local Government if he will consider, in connection with the raising of the income limits for SDA loans, an additional increase of £100 in respect of dependants.

As the Deputy is aware, the maximum income and loan limits for local authority house-purchase loans were increased in respect of applications received by the local authorities on or after the 25th May, 1973. These limits are being kept under review and when the next revision is being made the Deputy's suggestion will be borne in mind.
