asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if semi-State organisations and private companies are entitled to grants from FEOGA guidance schemes in the same way as groups of farmers; and, if so, if any semi-State organisations have applied for grants for 1973.

Semi-State organisations and private companies are eligible for grants from the Guidance Section of FEOGA provided their applications are in conformity with the relevant regulations. A number of semi-State organisations have applied for such grants from 1973 funds.
