asked the Minister for Lands when the McNicholas, Mannion and Delaney estates at Balla, County Mayo, will be divided.

(Cavan): Lands awaiting distribution in the Balla district comprise the McNicholas holding, the balance of the Mannion holding and the remnants of five other holdings totalling, in all, about 100 acres. The Land Commission have no Delaney lands on hands in the locality.

Proceedings are in progress for the compulsory acquisition of another property containing about 19 acres in the same district.

It is intended to utilise all these lands for the further rearrangement and enlargement of holdings in the locality.

It is unlikely, however, that the lands can be included in the current year's programme.
