asked the Minister for Local Government if he will introduce legislation to extend sections 51 and 52 of the Local Government Act, 1955, to include the borough of Dún Laoghaire so that buildings can be provided there for approved local councils.

This will be considered in the context of the next appropriate Local Government Bill.
