asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the present position regarding the advance factory at Swinford, County Mayo; and the plans the IDA have regarding Ballyhaunis, Kiltimagh, Kilkelly and Charlestown.

I understand that there has been some delay in establishing title to the land on which the Swinford factory is to be built, but that work will commence as soon as the matter has been resolved. With regard to the other towns, the IDA have informed me that they are in the process of acquiring land for industrial development as follows: Ballyhaunis: 7½ acres; Kiltimagh: 4 acres; Charlestown: 2 acres. There are no immediate plans for industry in Kilkelly.
