asked the Minister for Finance the plans for the transfer of national resources to rectify the imbalances between the various regions in Ireland.

It is the continuing aim of Government policy to rectify the imbalances which exist between various regions. Public resources are so distributed as to support the achievement of this objective. For example, 74 of the 105 projects qualifying for European Regional Development Fund assistance in 1975 are located in the designated areas.
