asked the Minister for Justice if he has given consideration to a proposal made last year by a solicitor from County Mayo that a register of wills should be kept; and, if so, the conclusions he has arrived at in the matter.

This matter is being examined and while I am sympathetic to the general idea implicit in the proposal I would prefer to await the conclusion of the examination before indicating my conclusions on the proposal.
