asked the Minister for Social Welfare if, in view of the fact that many disabled old persons in receipt of free turf vouchers cannot benefit from the scheme as the fuel is not delivered and they are unable to collect it, there are any proposals to amend the scheme; and, if so, if he will approve them forthwith.

Arrangements for the delivery of the fuel under the fuel scheme are a matter not for my Department but for the individual local authorities concerned.
