asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he is now satisfied that all Irish packers of eggs are complying with the requirement of marking the weekly code number on small packages of eggs to indicate the week in which the eggs were packed.

I am satisfied that the vast majority of Irish egg packers are complying in a satisfactory manner with all aspects of the EEC egg marketing regulations including the marking of the weekly code number on small packages of eggs.
