asked the Minister for Transport and Power (a) the total number of passengers, (b) the total number of cars and (c) the total tonnage of freight that passed through the port of Rosslare during 1975.

The total number of passengers which passed through Rosslare Harbour in 1975 was 377,161 and the total number of cars was 86,289 of which 74,948 were passengers' cars. A total of 16,230 freight units, carrying an estimated 324,600 tons of freight, passed through the port in the year.
