Michael Pat Murphy Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries (Mr. M.P. Murphy) Labour Party

I am hopeful that legislation for the reorganisation of the structure of inland fisheries administration, including the role of boards of conservators, will be introduced early in 1977.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary give any indication of the type of reorganisation he has in mind?

Comment on this

As I have indicated, it is expected to introduce the Bill early in 1977. In accordance with the usual procedure, the Deputy must await that event in order to ascertain its contents.
