asked the Minister for Education if he will grant immediate permission to the board of management of the community school in Ardee, County Louth to replace teachers who have recently left the school so as to ensure the provision of the wide range of subjects necessary to develop the aptitudes and abilities of all the pupils.

The staffing of this school is well over the number which would normally be warranted to provide for the wide range of subjects on the curriculum for the number of students enrolled. In the circumstances further appointments cannot be approved.
