Oliver J. Flanagan Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence (Mr. Begley) Fine Gael

One commandant and two sergeants of the Permanent Defence Force accompanied the vehicle in question to Belgium. The only expenditure involved for my Department was the cost of travel and subsistence in the case of the commandant who was sent to attend the demonstration of the vehicle in Belgium as an observer. The amount of this expenditure was £55.59.

Is this the same vehicle that will be on display next Wednesday in the barracks?

I should say so and I should like to add that this matter is under consideration in the Department.
