asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if, in view of the drastic increase in the cost of salmon drift net licences from £3 to £50, he will make arrangements for the payment of such licences by instalments or moities.

I am satisfied that arrangements for the payment of salmon licence duties in instalments, as suggested by the Deputy, are not necessary in present circumstances.
