Superphosphate subsidy rate 2 speeches

The Minister said the subsidy is 54p per tonne for each unit of water-soluble phosphorus and that he has no plans to change it.

In the case of superphosphate of Irish or other EEC origin, which represents practically all the superphosphate used here, the present subsidy is 54p per tonne for each unit (1 per cent) water soluble phosphorous. At present I have no intention of altering this rate.
