asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the present position regarding the provision of an industry for the vacant IDA factory in the Mallow industrial estate, County Cork.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that since its completion in May, 1975, 34 industrialists have been taken to view the advance factory in Mallow. I understand that negotiations for the establishment of a project are at an advanced stage with one of the parties which have shown interest in the factory.
