asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that television reception at Blacksod, Faulmore, Glosh and Aughleam, County Mayo, is of a very poor quality; and if he will take the necessary steps to ensure that this position is rectified without delay.

I have received representations about poor quality television reception in the areas mentioned and my Department has asked RTE for a report on the position. I will communicate with the Deputy when a report is received from RTE.
