asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the concern of the parents in the New-castle-Rathcoole-Saggart area, County Dublin regarding the provision of a post-primary school in the area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The future provision of second level education facilities in the Newcastle/Rathcoole/Saggart areas is currently under consideration in my Department. In the meantime provisional inquiries have been initiated in regard to the question of reserving a site for a new second level school.
