Army personnel transport from Laois 2 speeches

The Minister said regulations prohibit Army transport between personnel’s homes and their work stations, and there are no plans to change them.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will provide transport each day for Army personnel from Portarlington and Portlaoise, County Laois, to the Army barracks in Kildare.

Defence Force regulations do not permit the use of Army transport to convey personnel to and from their home stations to their work and home addresses. It is not proposed to amend the regulations in this regard.
