Kilmore Quay fishery harbour status

Allen asked whether Kilmore Quay should be declared a major fishery harbour; Donegan said it is not among the five scheduled State harbour centres and will not be added.

asked the Minister for Fisheries if, in view of his recent visit to Kilmore Quay, County Wexford where he saw (a) the progress made and (b) the facilities available to fish factories and so on, he will declare Kilmore Quay a major fishery harbour.

Kilmore Quay is not one of the five harbours scheduled under the Fishery Harbour Centres Act, 1968, for development as a State fishery harbour centre and I do not propose to add to the list of such harbours.
