asked the Minister for Local Government if he will furnish particulars of the permanent housing accommodation which is being provided by local authorities or private organisations this year.

It is estimated that about 7,500 dwellings will be completed by local authorities in 1977 and that about 17,500 will be completed by the private sector.

I do not think these figures are accurate. On any occasion when you add up the figures you will find the total amounts to 25,000, a figure that has been discredited.

That is the only figure I have.

I do not blame the Parliamentary Secretary but I do not accept those figures.

What about the Fianna Fáil figures?
