Clonlisk school transport proposal
No recent application had been received for transport to Clonlisk, and inquiries found too few eligible children in any one locality to establish a service.
asked the Minister for Education if he has received a recent proposal for school transport for children from Milltown, Clyduff, Mountheaton, Galsure and Clonaganna to Clonlisk national school, Birr, County Offaly, from the school management; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Comment on this
No recent application for the provision of school transport from the areas mentioned has been received from the board of management of Clonlisk national school. Inquiries made by CIE following the Deputy's previous question of 31st March, 1977, show that the number of eligible children required to warrant the establishment of a service is still not available in any particular locality.
