asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of new industries that commenced in Dundalk in each of the years 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that according to the IDA annual employment surveys 12 new manufacturing industries commenced production in Dundalk in the period 1973 to 1976. Three companies commenced production in 1973, two in 1974, three in 1975 and four in 1976.

A Cheann Comhairle, ba mhaith liom a chur in iúl duit go bhfuil ar intinn agam le cead uaitse cheist faoi bhás an pháipéir Amárach a ardú ar athló na Dála anocht.

Tabharfaidh mé freagra don Teachta ar ball.
