Killarney estate telephone kiosks

Summary

The Minister declined to add kiosks in Pinewood, Ardshanavooley and Coolegrean Park, citing insufficient use of existing kiosks serving those areas.

John O'Leary Mr. J. O'Leary Fianna Fáil

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange, as a matter of urgency, for the erection of a public telephone kiosk in each of the following areas in Killarney town, County Kerry (a) Pinewood estate (b) Ardshanavooley estate and (c) Coolegrean Park.

Comment on this

The use made of the existing kiosks serving the three areas referred to by the Deputy is not sufficient to justify the provision of additional kiosks in these areas at present.
