Lyons Estate allotment 2 speeches

The Minister said the Land Commission purchased the Knockane estate under the farmers’ retirement scheme and hopes to include it in this year’s allotment programme, though timing is not yet certain.

I understand that the property referred to was purchased by the Land Commission last November under the farmers' retirement scheme. It is as yet too early to indicate precisely when the lands will be allocated but it is hoped to include them in the current years allotment programme.
