The question of increasing the gratuities payable to members of the Reserve Defence Force generally is under consideration at present.

When can we expect to be informed that the gratuity will be increased?

The rates payable to members were last revised on 1st January, 1971. In view of the lapse of time since the revision, it is now considered that a general review of rates is warranted and has already been initiated.
