asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount of grants and the total number of applications approved for the adaption and extension of the homes of disabled persons in each of the last five years.

The disabled persons' grant scheme is administered by the local authorities. Part of their expenditure on the scheme is recouped by my Department. With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate details of the recoupment with the Official Report.
