Senior English prose syllabus

Summary

The Minister said the syllabus committee had considered the senior prose course and would revisit it at a forthcoming meeting. He has no plans to change the committee’s composition.

asked the Minister for Education if it is his intention to have the curriculum for the English senior prose course for secondary schools changed or altered in the near future in view of the fact that this syllabus has remained unaltered for many years.

Comment on this

The curriculum for each subject in the programmes for the certificate examinations is decided with due regard to the recommendations of the Syllabus Committee for the subject. Matters relating to the English senior prose course for secondary schools have been considered by the committee but it will be necessary to have them further considered at another meeting for which arrangements are now being made.
