asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction immediately the Carrowreagh-Cooper group water scheme at Tubbercurry, County Sligo, as a contractor is ready to start work and as this scheme was cleared by Sligo County Council and sent to his Department for approval on 29th September, 1977.

My Department advised the promoter of this group scheme to submit up-to-date quotations and to arrange completion of the appropriate grant application forms. The Department have so far received a quotation for the supply of materials only. When the balance of the information is supplied, my Department will be in a position to make a firm estimate of the cost of the scheme and to allocate the appropriate grants.
