asked the Minister for Health if he will consider increasing the grant to Women's Aid to enable them to carry out their work of providing refuge and support for victims of family violence.

Following a recent meeting which I had with Women's Aid the Eastern Health Board has decided to increase significantly the amount of annual grant which it makes to this body.
