I am not yet in a position to outline plans for the future expansion and development of the Irish film industry. In advance of the settlement of final plans for the industry I have engaged consultants to advise on the matter, with particular reference to financial systems that would ensure maximum utilisation of studio facilities that have been developed.
I expect that the consultants' report will be available within two months.
