The information sought by the Deputy is set out in a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

(i) Includes 3 principals, 1 assistant principal, 1 administrative officer and 1 executive officer on loan to other Departments etc; 3 administrative officers on special leave without pay; 1 executive officer attending School of Public Administration; and 33 higher executive officers on loan from other Departments.

(ii) Salary (minimum and maximum of scale except for secretary and deputy secretary who have a flat rate).

The State Directory which is published each year gives details of numbers, grades and pay scales of officers in each Government Department.
