I should like to seek the guidance of the Chair. In view of your statement yesterday, Sir, that questions not reached to-day would be answered by way of written reply unless otherwise indicated by the Deputy concerned, I should like to state that I am anxious that Question No. 243 be dealt with by way of oral answer. I should like the Chair to clarify the position.

That question may be left on the Order Paper until after the Recess if the Deputy so wishes.

Is it possible for me to withdraw that question now and submit a question dealing with the same subject matter but in the current context after the Recess.

That is possible and I will permit the Deputy to do that.
