Quarterly electricity output increases 2 speeches

ESB electricity output rose by 10.0% in the March quarter, 10.1% in June, 8.6% in September and 4.3% in December 1977 compared with the corresponding quarters of 1976.

The percentage increase in the gross output of electricity of ESB generating stations in each quarter of 1977 compared with the corresponding quarter of 1976 is as follows: Quarter ending March, 10.0 per cent; Quarter ending June, 10.1 per cent; Quarter ending September, 8.6 per cent; Quarter ending December, 4.3 per cent.
