asked the Minister for Fisheries the number of salmon licences issued by each Board of Conservators for 1978.

: It has not proved possible in the time available to ascertain from all boards of conservators the number of salmon fishing licences that have been issued for 1978. I expect the information to be available in my Department within the next two weeks and I will then communicate it to the Deputy.
