Trawler Loans
Deasy asked how many trawler loans BIM sanctioned in April 1977 and April 1978. Haughey said the table would be circulated and gave figures: three new-vessel loans in each size category in each year; secondhand loans were three and two for vessels under 50 feet, and one each year for vessels 50 feet or over.

: There are more than two. In respect of new vessels both of 50 feet and over and those under 50 feet the figure was three in respect of both 1977 and 1978 while in the case of secondhand vessels the figure was three for 1977 and two for 1978 for those under 50 feet while for those 50 and over feet the figure was one in respect of each of the years concerned.
