Reimposing tax on motor cars

Summary

Dr. Browne asked whether the Minister would reimpose motor tax rather than tax children’s allowances or remove food subsidies; the Chair ruled it a separate question and moved on.

If the Minister is faced with a choice between taxing children's allowances or removing food subsidies and reimposing a tax on motor cars, will he choose to reimpose the tax on motor cars?
