Objection to Minister’s under-breath remark

Summary

Harte objected to an inaudible remark by the Minister; the Ceann Comhairle rejected his point of order and said he was delaying Question Time. O’Keeffe’s request for a supplementary was refused as the Chair moved to Question No. 9.

On a point of order, the Minister said something under his breath.

That is not a point of order.

Would the Minister agree to put on the record whatever it was he said under his breath?

That is not a point of order. The Deputy is deliberately trying to hold up Question Time.

A Cheann Comhairle, I will not take abuse from the Minister for Justice expressed under his breath. If he has any comments to make he should be man enough to make them.
