Government responsibility for strikes

Summary

Murphy asked whether the Minister accepted responsibility for the spread of strikes and what the Government would do to restore industrial peace. The Ceann Comhairle ruled this a separate question, and no answer was given.

Does the Minister accept any responsibility for the massive number of strikes spreading throughout the country at present? Never has the number been so great since the establishment of the State.
