asked the Minister for Health the number of recipients of medical cards in Limerick city from the Mid-Western Health Board; the number of patients on these cards; and the number of doctors in the scheme caring for the people in receipt of medical cards.

The number of medical cards current in Limerick City on 30 September 1978 was 13,200. They covered 26,640 people. There are 20 doctors participating in the General Medical Service in the city.
