asked the Minister for the Environment when he will make a ministerial Order to bring a new speed limit into operation at Caltra, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

Clarification of details contained in the proposals submitted by Galway County Council for the revision of speed limits in the county generally, including proposals for Caltra, was required to enable statutory requirements to be made. Final clarification has now been received and I hope to make regulations at an early date.
