Navan River Blackwater diversion report
The Minister received Professor Pryor’s report on 24 January 1979; it is under consideration and remains confidential, though it may be published later, and has been disclosed to the company.
asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy if he has yet received the Pryor report on the diversion of the Blackwater in the area of the Navan ore body and, if so, (a) on what date, (b) whether he will publish it.

Professor Pryor's report on the route determination for the diversion of the River Blackwater was received by me on 24 January 1979. The report is being considered at present by my Department and the two private mining companies concerned. For this reason the report must be regarded as confidential for the present but its publication may arise at a later stage.
