asked the Minister for Justice if the Report of the Ryan Committee on Garda pay and conditions is yet to hand and, if not, when he expects to have and to publish same.

Yes, I have received the report and I hope to place it before the Government very quickly. I am also arranging for printing or other form of reproduction as a matter of urgency so that it can be published at the earliest possible date.

When will it be published?

In a short time.

Will it be published this side of 7 June?

It certainly will.

Will the Minister also circulate copies of the Garda survey?

If the Deputy wants information on that subject he should put down a question.

Deputies should treat Question Time seriously.
