Erosion between Portmarnock and Howth

Summary

Cosgrave asked whether funding would be provided to Dublin County Council or Dublin Corporation to address serious erosion between Portmarnock and Howth. Barrett said his department had no funds for the work and referred responsibility to the Department of Finance and local authorities.

Is the Minister aware of the serious coast erosion between Portmarnock and Howth? Does he intend to put money at the disposal of Dublin County Council or Dublin Corporation to alleviate this problem?

That is a separate question.

There is no money at my disposal for this purpose. The Department of Finance and the local authorities are responsible for making this money available.
