asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy when the advance factory in Kilrush, County Clare, will be occupied; the number of male and female workers it is proposed to employ in the first year of production; and the name of the industrialist or company promoting the enterprise.

I am informed that the Industrial Development Authority are at an advanced state of negotiations with an overseas promoter for the establishment of a project at the existing advance factory at Kilrush, County Clare. As these negotiations are still confidential I am not in a position at this stage to give details of the project.
